Maintaining passionate work, while passing the torch

I’ve learned things, developed skills, and bought physical things and software to support my efforts, over the years. I’ve done so with a great deal of fire in my younger days, and it paid off. Over a good deal of time, I’ve found it more difficult to stay current with the areas I previously was able to, due to increasing complexity of the tools, and reduced time to do the work, much less, staying current. I’ve realized that the way to go is to maintain a fire and skill with core passions, focus more on design and vision, and hire out more of the technical / mechanical work. It relieves time burdens, allows me to focus more on creativity (and maybe even pursuing or advancing some areas of interest I’ve not done so to date), allows me to develop mentoring skills; gives work to others, and is generally a good plan.

Continuing the good work and passing the torch are traits I’ve admired in others.
